Mr. Jawaharlal Shah has been in the business of plywood for over fifty years and after years of experience and study, carefully created the brand Concrete Gold in the year 2009. With his boundless passion for work and an impervious spirit, he laid the foundation for the business that has continued to flourish and expand ever since. He has always strived to guarantee utmost satisfaction to his customers that he believes are paramount and this has also become one of the fundamental values of our brand Concrete Gold. Even at the age of sixty-six, he works for twelve hours a day and is the backbone to us achieving newer targets and expanding even today.

Mr. Shirish Shah, son of Jawaharlal Shah, continues to walk in the path set by his father, thereby developing the business and our brand in unthinkable ways. Having had the experience of almost 25 years, he is a multitasker with no tolerance for mediocrity in any aspect, which he also guarantees to his customers through his deliverables. Believing that “A fit mind exists in a fit body”, Mr. Shah dedicates a significant amount of time every day to exercising which helps him work better and ensure higher efficiency in the business he runs. One of his most amiable qualities is of forming rock-solid and lasting bonds with his business colleagues and clients. As the managing partner, his motto is to never do business in bad faith and deliver upon what he promises to his valued clients and he works to be a living example of that. Being a simple man, he endeavors to achieve the right balance between the two things most important to him - his work and the responsibilities that come with having a family.

We are gratified to be associated with and be a supplier to prestigious, diverse and significant projects like that of Pune-Mumbai Expressway the project, academic institutions like FLAME University, Symbiosis Lavale etc, and the Bandra-Worli sea link project, to name a few. Within the city of Pune, where we are based, we have supplied to Paranjpe schemes, Corinthians resort, Godrej Rejuvé, and JW Marriott Pune among other.

Being in the business of timber, we understand the responsibility of maintaining the ecological balance and avoid anything that is detrimental to the environment.

As a brand, we believe in ethical felling of trees for our business that guarantees a sustainable method to avoid adverse ecological changes that harm the environment. All our wood and raw materials ONLY come from timber plantations that are meant for business and construction purposes specifically, across the world that have been set forth by forest laws of the respective countries. Our premium quality of pine wood comes from timber plantations in New Zealand, our plywood from eucalyptus trees in Jagadhri, Haryana, India. We do not contribute to unsustainable deforestation and for the trees that we use for our raw material, it is ensured that a sapling is then planted there.
